Who has you? You or God?
You know just a little while ago as I was listening to a song called "Tonight(All of me) by Flame and as I was listening to the song the words to the song hit me and really ministered to me and I really began to understand that life with the Lord doesn't make sense at all. I can have all the material things in the world but with Him it doesn't mean a hill of beans. In addition to that Lord showed me that I need to depend on Him and not my own understanding and trying to do everything myself because when I do that life will make no sense and the longer I do that the less I will really understand life. I've always "known" life without the Lord doesn't mean much but now it's really starting to hit home that I need to depend on Him and less on me so that I can be close to Him and that He can show me things that pertain to life. God wants all of us not just a portion or just a section or two here and there while we keep the rest for ourselves. He wants the whole pie, the whole enchilada, 100%.
We have to make the choice to give the Lord all of us and trust that He can take care of us and do what is in our best interest. I encourage you as I encourage myself to take the leap and trust God with you, your life, your gifts, talents and abilities and watch what He will do. Jeremiah 29:11 says that He has plans for you to give you a hope and a future. Galatians 3:20 says He will do abundantly above all you can ever ask or think of. Meaning that God has plans to give you a hope a future that is way beyond what you can even imagine or dream of.
Gotta take the leap, take a step, even if you have to have someone take it with you; there's nothing wrong with that, that's how it is sometimes, we all need a little help. It's okay.
I encourage you to trust in Him and take the leap whether you do it alone or with someone. :-)
